Person found dead in a car in Gilman

Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police are investigating after a dead body was found in a car in a parking lot in Gilman Tuesday. In a press release, deputies say they were called to the parking lot at a fast food restaurant in Gilman and after an investigation determined the deceased, whose identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, had been staying at a nearby motel. While no other details have been released at this time, they do say no foul play is suspected at this time.
