Traffic Stop Ends in Drug Arrest

Kankakee police say a routine traffic stop for not signaling yesterday afternoon in the 600 block of West Court Street in Kankakee, ended with an arrest on drug charges.  While questioning the car occupants, officers were advised that the passenger was wanted by KAMEG agents on drug charges.  37 year old Ashad J.Mayo was taken into custody without incident.  The driver was released with a warning.
