Sauk Village man charged with hitting Troopers

A Sauk Village man is charged in a crash on I-55 involving two Illinois State Police troopers in Cook County.  Authorities say two troopers were inside of their squad cars handling a crash Tuesday on I-55 just south of Harlem Avenue when a Honda Accord failed to move over and hit both squad cars. One trooper and their canine partner reported minor injuries. The driver of the Honda, Gabriel Owens, was charged with driving Too Fast for Conditions and a Scott’s Law violation
