Explosion and Fire Reported in Rural Grant Park

There was an explosion and a structure fire in rural Grant Park this afternoon. The Chicagoland Fire-ground Facebook page is reporting heavy fire is showing from the building and there may be one person injured.  We do not know how serious.   Fire fighters from as far away at Manhattan have been called in to assist.  Kankakee County Sheriff’s police place the blaze near 7000 north and 16,700 east Roads.
