More cars stolen/recovered in Kankakee

Another couple of cars were stolen in the area overnight. The first reported just after midnight this morning on North Chicago Avenue. The Tri-County Auto Theft Task force says that care was found a few blocks away about an hour later…it had been left unlocked with the keys inside. Another was reported stolen just before 7:30 this morning on North Harrison. That one was found parked in the 200 block of North Illinois later in the morning. Reports say it had been left running when it was stolen. Authorities are looking for suspects in both thefts.
