Fire Departments from across the area were kept busy Tuesday as windy conditions made it dangerous battling several blazes.
The first was reported on Zilm Road in Essex Township just before 11:30 Tuesday morning when a controlled burn reportedly got out of hand and ended up scorching several acres and burned a truck.
Then right around 12:30 yesterday afternoon Coal City firefighters were called to a mobile home fire on Arlington Drive in Diamond.
Just before five last night, Momence fire was called out to a single-family home on East Country Club Drive. There were reports of heavy fire coming from the home. Several local Fire Departments were called in to help battle the blaze. So far, there have been no reports of any injuries from any of the fires
