Crash sends driver to the hospital

A crash on Route 114 east of Momence Wednesday afternoon sent one person to the hospital. State Police reports say the crash happened just after 3:30 yesterday afternoon when a car and SUV were eastbound on Route 114. The SUV reportedly slowed to turn left off the highway and was hit by the car. The crash closed the roadway for about an hour and a half. The driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries.
