Wheatfield Man Arrested for Domestic Violence

A Wheatfield, Indiana man was arrested over the weekend after he called police to report a domestic violence situation at a Rensselaer home in which he portrayed himself as the victim.   However, Rensselaer police say when officers arrived 25 year old Jordan Owens showed them injuries that did not appear to be recent.  They then met with the woman who was in a nearby home.  Officers say she did have recent injuries including cuts and blood on her face and lips, a swollen eye and rib injuries.  Owens is charged with domestic battery.
