Joliet Man Arrested in Channahon on Weapon Charges

A Joliet man has been arrested in Channahon in connection with a shooting in Joliet January 18th that damaged a home on Youngs Avenue.  One person was inside the home at the time, but was not injured.  A Joliet police investigation led to the arrest of 18 year old Giovanni Simpson at his place of employment in Channahon.  Simpson is charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.
