Feb 10, 2025 | 11:19 AM
The Tri-County Auto Theft Task Force is investigating after another car was stolen in the City of Kankakee over the weekend. Reports say the car had been left running and unattended in front of a home on South Third Sunday morning. Then just after 11 yesterday morning hit a parked car in the 600 block of South Myrtle before leaving the scene. The car was recovered just after 11:30 in the 200 block of Crestlane, where it was reported three men got out of the car and took off running after hitting a pole in the parking lot. Law enforcement personnel are reviewing surveillance video, trying to identify those involved.
