During this morning’s meeting of the Kankakee County Board, the Board accepted the resignation of Regional Superintendent of Schools for Kankakee and Iroquois Counties Frank Petkunas. County Clerk Dan Hendrickson read Petkunas’ resignation letter
The Board voted to appoint Patricia High as the new Regional Superintendent of Schools. High has served as assistant Regional Superintendent since August 2022.
