Rensselaer police make arrest for alleged theft from VFW

Rensselaer Indiana Police report the arrest of the former Commander of the Rensselaer VFW post for alleged financial misconduct. In a press release, Rensselaer Police say they arrested 61-year-old Albert Christopher of Remington following an investigation into his allegedly making unauthorized purchases on VFW accounts. Law enforcement officials say their investigation showed Christopher took some 23-thousand dollars from the organization.
