Cedar Lake Man Impregnates 14 Year Old

A Cedar Lake man has been charged with multiple counts of child molestation after he allegedly impregnated a 14 year old girl.  Court papers show the girl told investigators the relationship began in 2019 when she was just 11 year old.  Kevin R. Osika initially denied having sexual contact with the girl, but later admitted it was possible he is the child’s father. Prosecutors say DNA tests showed he is indeed the father.  Investigators believe Osika was 19 at the time of conception.  The investigation began when the victim contacted the Hammond Police Department.
