Bye, Bye Exploralot Castle

The Exploralot Castle at the Perry Farm’s Exploration Station was given a bitter sweet send off Friday night.  The castle is going to be disassembled in favor of a new storybook exhibit that the park district hopes will bring the books to life. The new Storybook Adventure interactive exhibit is expected to be up and running in the spring.  The evening included families whose parents reminisced of playing on the castle while watching their children do the same for one last time.
