Services Set for Dan the Weatherman

Visitation and funeral services will be held over the weekend for Manhattan’s Dan the Weatherman.  60 year old Dan Casper died last week from lung cancer.  Casper created the Manhattan Weather Channel over a decade ago and it has since grown an audience in many suburban communities in the region as well. Fox 32 meteorologist Mike Caplan says of Casper that he was not just another armchair internet weather man looking for clicks.  Caplan says Casper was dedicated. Visitation will be Sunday at Forsythe Gould on State Street in Manhattan from noon until 3.
