The results of the primary election for the Bourbonnais Citizen’s Party are in. With a tally of one thousand 61 votes, Jeff Keast secured the lead over current Mayor Paul Schore, who had a total 686 votes. Keast says he’s excited about the results of last night’s election, and he’s looking forward to the next race
Keast will face Bourbonnais Township Park District Board President and People’s Choice Party Candidate Dave Zinnani in the consolidated election on April 1st. Bourbonnais had about 15 percent voter turnout for yesterday’s primary.
