Saturday crash in Iroquois County sends pair to hospital

A crash between a car and a semi in Iroquois County over the weekend sent two people to the hospital. According to reports. State Police were called to the crash on Route 45/52 near Clifton about 10:30 Saturday morning and found the car had collided with the semi, which caused the car to roll over, coming to rest on its side. Two people from inside the car had to be taken to the hospital, at least one of the two reported to have serious injuries from the crash. State Police are looking into the cause of the crash.
