A Braidwood Domestic Incident Ends in Arrest

A Will County Judge has denied pretrial release for a 46 year old Crest Hill resident following his arrest in Braidwood. Brandon Quirk faces charges of aggravated battery, domestic battery, and obstructing police after an incident on March 5. where Quirk allegedly pushed and spat in a 71-year-old woman’s face, then stopped her from calling 911. When officers arrived, Quirk reportedly yelled threats, including asking if they wanted ‘a gun in the face,’ before fleeing into a garage. He was arrested with help from Wilmington police. He remains in custody at Will County Jail.
