In Cedar Lake, the Lake County Coroner’s Office has identified 80-year-old Judith Ann Borgman as the woman found unresponsive in a ditch this week. Preliminary autopsy results show Borgman died of asphyxia due to drowning, though the manner of death remains under investigation. Cedar Lake police say two women called 911 after spotting her in the 10100 block of West 129th Avenue with a faint pulse. Despite medics’ efforts, she passed away at the hospital. Video evidence shows Borgman, confused and carrying pillows, walking near the Cedar Lake Clubhouse around midnight Tuesday, just a quarter mile from her home. Police found no evidence of foul play at her home
