Iroquois County Deputies arrest Bonfield man

Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police report the arrest of a 31-year-old Bonfield man. According to reports, deputies were called to rural Chebanse last Tuesday for a suspected burglary. Once in the area, deputies spotted a car matching a description of the one thought to have been involved and as Iroquois County Deputies tried to stop the car, the driver instead sped off. The car was later stopped in Kankakee County where the driver, Austin M Archer of Bonfield, was taken into custody for aggravated fleeing and eluding police and possession of methamphetamine among other charges.
