Kankakee Area Metropolitan Enforcement Group Agents report a pair of arrests. In a press release, KAMEG agents say it was just before 3:30 Tuesday afternoon when they, along with officers from the Kankakee City Police Department, agents from the Tri-County Auto Theft Task Force, the Department of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives arrested 64-year-old Steven P. Davis following the execution of a search warrant at a home in the 800 block of South East Avenue in Kankakee. KAMEG says the arrest was the culmination of an on-going narcotics investigation and the search allegedly turned up more than 55 grams of suspected meth, nearly two grams of suspected cocaine and a shotgun. KAMEG agents also arrested 41-year-old Heidi R. Dillie of Kankakee after she was allegedly found to be in possession of suspected meth. KAMEG agents arrested Davis on various drug and weapons charges. Dillie was taken into custody for possession of meth.
