Local legislators are speaking out about the 55.2 billion dollar budget passed over the weekend. 79th District State Representative Jackie Haas says the new budget is filled with “gimicks and tax hikes on hard working Illinoisians”
Haas called for the Democratically controlled legislature to have bi-partisan input when drafting future budgets.
