Local officials continue to ask for help to identify the body of a man found in the Kankakee River nearly a week ago. Kankakee County Coroner Bob Gessner’s office says the Hispanic man was about five foot 10 inches tall, weighed around 168 pounds and was in his late 40’s or early 50’s. He was wearing black jogging pants, a maroon t-shirt and grey and white Adidas shoes. They say if you know someone matching that description that you’ve not been able to make contact with, you should contact the Coroner’s office or Kankakee City Police.
