Juneteenth holiday

It’s June 19th, also known as Juneteenth. It’s a federal holiday that commemorates the June 19th, 1865 freeing of the last slaves held in Texas. Because of the holiday you’ll find several offices will be closed today. It is a Federal Holiday, so most federal, state, county and local municipal offices will be closed today. Most schools are already out for the summer, but you may find programs run through the schools to be cancelled today. Most banks and other financial institutions are closed today and there will be no mail delivery today.
