Suspension Bridge to Close for Repairs at State Park

The suspension bridge that goes over Rock Creek inside Kankakee River State Park will close for about four weeks. In a Facebook post from the state park made on Saturday, the bridge and the trail around it will be closed beginning this Wednesday for reconstruction of the gabion wall. The work is expected to take at least four weeks.
