I-57 Semi Rollover Update

A semi roll-over on I-57 at the 312 exit tied up southbound traffic for about six hours this morning. Kankakee Fire Department personnel were called to the interstate about six this morning and found the semi hauling a box trailer engulfed in flames. Reports say the driver had to be cut from the semi and was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Reports say there were no other injuries from the crash. The southbound lanes of the interstate reopened around 11:50 this morning.
