Fatal Crash on Peotone/Wilmington Road

A person died in a car versus tractor trailer crash near Peotone Tuesday morning.  According to Will County Sheriff’s police, the fatal accident happened just before six yesterday morning near 104th Avenue and Wilmington-Peotone Road. The roadway was shut down for several hours between center road and route 45 to clean up and investigate the crash. The name of the victim will be released at a later time by the Will County Coroner’s office.
