SUV crashed into Paxton house

An SUV crashed into a house yesterday morning in Paxton. Paxton Fire Department says they were called to a home on Pells Street just after 8:30 yesterday morning to find an SUV had struck the side of the front porch to the home. Firefighters braced the porch roof and base using cribbing and other support boards so that the SUV could be removed safely. No word on any injuries, what caused the driver to veer off the street into the house or how much damage was caused. A nearby neighbor claims that’s the second time he’s seen the house get struck with a car since living on that street.
