Former Clifton Central High School teacher sentenced for child porn

A former agriculture teacher at Clifton Central High School has been sentenced to 25 years in prison after pleading guilty to dissemination of child pornography. The Ford County Chronicle reports 38-year-old Brett M Sorensen of Paxton was sentenced Wednesday for conduct prosecutors say happened in Ford County between May 26th and May 30th of 2024. Sorenson was arrested after a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Six more child pornography counts were dismissed by prosecutors in exchange for Sorensen’s plea.
