Wilmington Police have made an arrest in connection to the death of a 14 year old boy back in June. According to a press release, 36-year-old Robert Delacruz Junior was arrested Wednesday on two counts of endangering the life or health of a child. Delacruz allegedly left heroin accessible to the 14 year old juvenile which is believed to have resulted in his death. First responders were called to their home on Fulton Street in Wilmington on June 3rd of last year because the boy was not breathing. Even though CPR was conducted by the family, he was pronounced dead at the scene by the time emergency personnel got there.
