New Village Administrator Appointed in Elwood

The Village of Elwood has a new administrator. According to a press release from Thursday, Fred Hayes has been appointed to the position. Hayes previously served as the Chief of Police for the Village of Elwood and the City of Joliet. As Village Administrator, Hayes will oversee day-to-day municipal operations, guide long-term planning initiatives, and support the Village Board in advancing Elwood’s strategic goals. Village President Doug Jenco says they are confident that Hayes’s expertise will help guide Elwood toward continued growth and success.
