Officials Warn of Valentine’s Day Scams

Valentine’s Day is Saturday and that means plenty of romance scams and warnings about them.  The scammers lead the victims into fake romantic relationships online and then convince them to invest money into fraudulent accounts.  The Federal Trade Commission reported more than 12-billion-dollars in scam related losses in 2024.  Before investing money in anything, always make sure to do your research and make sure everything is legitimate.
