Child From February 13th Crash Dies of Injuries

One of the two children hospitalized in critical condition after the pick-up they were riding in crashed February 13th has died. ABC 7 Chicago reports the Cook County Coroner says 10-year-old Ombre Mangram died of her injuries Monday. Mangram and another child were taken to a Chicago area hospital after the pick-up they were in crashed into a creek in the area of 37-hundred east Route 17 about 11:30 last Thursday night. 58-year-old Phyllis Moses of Pembroke Township was charged with driving under the influence following the crash. There’s no word on the condition of the other child. It’s unknown at this time if Moses will face additional charges.
