Iroquois County Under Burn Ban

A county wide burn ban is now in effect for Iroquois County. According to a press release from the Iroquois County Emergency Management Agency, the burn ban goes into effect immediately and asks everyone to refrain from any open burning including things like fireworks. Anyone caught burning will receive a one hundred dollar fine, which will be doubled if you’re caught a second time. The burn ban in Iroquois County is in effect until further notice.
