Kankakee County Sherriff Reports man Beaten by Friends

Kankakee County Sheriff’s Police are investigating after a man called them Tuesday evening to say he’d been beaten. When deputies got to the address on West 1000 North Road, the victim told them he’d just gotten out of jail when the friends that picked him up took him to the area of 9000 West and 5000 North where four of the five people in the van took turns hitting him. The victim said after beating him they dropped him off at Limestone Park. Deputies are looking into the allegations.
