Community College Bachelor’s Degree Legislation is set to return to Springfield soon. According to a press release from the Illinois Community College Board, Senate Bill 4034 and House Bill 5319 will come back this Spring in an effort to expand opportunities for Illinois students. Kankakee Community College President Doctor Michael Boyd says KCC is in support of this legislation.
If the legislation passes, it would authorize KCC and other Illinois community colleges to offer a limited set of baccalaureate degrees in high demand fields for working adults and place-bound students
