Scheduled Power Outage for Gilman Area Monday

A scheduled power outage is set for a portion of Gilman residents Monday. According to a press release from the Iroquois County Emergency Management Agency, the scheduled power outage is expected to affect about six-hundred customers in Gilman from nine in the evening Monday until about five Tuesday morning. Ameren says the outage is needed to perform local system maintenance. Iroquois County EMA recommends people with medical devices that are dependent on electricity should make alternate plans now.
