Newton County Indiana Sheriff Shannon Cothran has confirmed two people died in last night’s tornado in Lake Village.
Newton County Coroner’s office says the elderly couple were found deceased after their home in the 8000 block of County Road 600 West was struck and destroyed. No names are being released at this time pending positive identification and notification of the next of kin.
