Newton County Sheriff Shannon Cothran took to social media last night to warn residents of scammers hitting the area. As the area continues to clean up from Tuesday night’s tornado, Sheriff Cothran says some unscrupulous contractors may be hitting the area.
Sheriff Cothran says Newton County residents can call his office if there’s a question.
