Kankakee City Police Make Robbery Arrests

Kankakee City Police report the arrest of a pair of juveniles following a reported robbery late last week. According to reports, it was just before four Thursday afternoon when officers were called to the 500 block of South Wildwood Avenue by two boys who said they’d been robbed. They gave police a description of those who allegedly robbed them and police say they found juveniles matching their descriptions behind a house in the 500 block of South Rosewood. After they were positively identified by the victims, the juveniles were taken into custody by City Police. A search of the home where the boys had been picked up allegedly turned up two firearms thought to have been associated with the robbery. One of them ended up having been reported stolen out of Wisconsin.
