At Monday night’s Kankakee City Council Meeting, aldermen passed a resolution to purchase fireworks for this year’s Juneteenth and Fourth of July Celebrations. Mayor Chris Curtis says the prices have gone up.
Juneteenth Fireworks will be shot off at Pioneer Park on Saturday, June 20th. Fourth of July Fireworks will be out at Kankakee Community College on July 4th.
