Human Remains Found in Mokena

The Will County Sheriff’s Office reports human remains were discovered in Mokena yesterday. According to a press release, deputies were called to Oakwood Drive and Townline Road in Mokena around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday after land surveyors working in the field found what appeared to be possible human remains. What appeared to be a human skull and other bones were scattered throughout the field. The recovered bones have been turned over to the Will County Coroner’s Office to be processed. Anyone with information about the human remains is encouraged to submit a tip through Crimestoppers of Will County. Tips can be submitted anonymously.
