Crete Mass Shooting Victim Identified

Authorities have identified the person killed in an early Sunday morning mass shooting in Crete Township. The Cook County Medical Examiner has identified the victim as 20-year-old David Velazquez. Velazquez, along with two others, were shot at a family party early Sunday morning in the 27000 block of South State Line Road in Crete. All three was taken to the area hospitals where Velazquez later died. The other two victims are said to be in critical condition. So far, no charges have been filed in the shooting.
