Stolen UTV Crashes in Bradley Monday

Bradley Police were called to the 300 block of South Dearborn Avenue sometime Monday regarding a hit and run accident. When officers arrived, they saw a black Polaris UTV crashed into the front of a house. Police spoke to three witnesses who said the Polaris appeared to have been chased by another vehicle, described as a bronze colored Buick. The driver of the Polaris asked for help flipping the UTV back upright, then tried to drive away but there was too much damage. When the driver heard police sirens, he fled on foot. The driver’s description was given to officers. The Polaris was reported stolen out of Kankakee County so the case was referred to the Stolen Auto Task Force for further investigation.
