Bourbonnais woman dead following weekend crash

A 26-year-old Bourbonnais woman is dead, following an early Sunday morning crash on I-55 near Channahon. Will County Coroner Laurie Summers says Melissa Prosser died just after four  Sunday morning. Prosser was a dispatcher for the Western Will County 9-1-1 dispatch center and daughter of retired Bourbonnais Fire Protection District Firefighter/EMT Mike Prosser. We have no other details about the crash.
