Kankakee City Police report a man had his car stolen from him at gunpoint Sunday night. According to reports, it was about 10:30 Sunday night when officers were called to the 18-hundred block of South Schuyler Avenue by a man who said he’d been trying to sell his 2014 silver Chevy Malibu to a couple, and during a test drive, the man allegedly pulled a gun and put it to his head. The man said he pulled into the parking lot of a bar, where the woman punched him in the head before he got out of the car and the couple took off. Employees at the bar told officers there may be surveillance cameras in the parking lot, but they didn’t have access to the footage. City Police continue to investigate.
