Jasper County Deputies make arrest in alleged car theft

Jasper County Indiana Sheriff’s Police report the arrest of a Wheatfield Indiana woman after she allegedly stole a man’s van. In a Facebook post, Deputies say it was just before one Tuesday morning when they were called by a man in DeMotte who said Kristen Huff had taken his van. Deputies say they went to Huff’s last known address in Wheatfield and found the van sitting in the driveway. Jasper County Deputies arrested her for theft of a motor vehicle. She was also found to be wanted on active warrants out of Porter County Indiana.
