Bruce Schreffler of Schreffler Funeral Homes Passes Away

Bruce Schreffler of Schreffler Funeral Homes has passed away. According to his obituary he died Sunday at the age of 82 following an extended illness. Bruce began learning the family business from his father John Schreffler at age 16, and eventually joined the firm as Funeral Director and Embalmer in 1973. Bruce along with his wife Susan and family, retired from owning and operating Schreffler Funeral Homes in 2015 and sold to Clancy-Gernon. Visitation for Bruce will be held Sunday April 26th at the Schreffler Funeral Home in Kankakee from 2 to 6 with a funeral service Monday April 27th at 11 in the morning at College Church of the Nazarene in Bourbonnais.
