Not a lot of stray pets reported following March tornado

During Wednesday morning’s meeting of the Kankakee County Board’s Criminal Justice Committee, committee members heard from Animal Control Director Kari Laird on fallout from the tornado for animal control

Laird added four pallets of pet food were donated to Animal Control for those in the Aroma Park area in need of food for their pet. She said you can stop by their office on Mooney Drive weekdays from 8:30 to four if you were affected by the storm and need food for your pets.
