“The Economic Value of the Community Colleges of Illinois” report says one out of every 48 jobs in the Kankakee Community College service area is supported by the activies of KCC and its students. The study says the increased earnings of KCC alumni and the businesses they work for amounts to a little over 108-million-dollars with the college’s annual payroll and other spending put at about 22-and-a-half-milion dollars.
